Award criteria weightings
Enter the weightings from your own tender notice: price, quality and social value. They must total 100 percent before you can continue. These are published with the pack and are the weightings applied when bids are ranked.
Quality
Quality is scored by your evaluation panel as one consensus score on each bid. It is applied only when every bid in the tender has one. Until then it is shown as suspended and weighted at zero, and the evaluation says why.
The social value minimum
The builder tells you which minimum applies to your organisation, if any:
- Required. A minimum your organisation must meet, with the instrument that sets it.
- Guidance. You may publish below it, and you record why. The reason is stored on the published pack.
- None. No UK procurement rule sets a weighting for your organisation.
- Not recorded. We do not yet know what kind of organisation you are, so nothing is enforced.
Where it applies, the builder also says your organisation must obtain a Carbon Reduction Plan from suppliers.
Scoring bands
Each band carries a descriptor so every evaluator reads a mark the same way. The bands are locked with the weightings at publication.
