Comparisons
A comparison holds the options you are weighing up as columns, your criteria as rows, and the judgement a named person made in each cell. New comparison takes three steps: the segment (a CPV code, or none), what goes in (bids received against an evaluation, registered suppliers, options added by hand or market options), and the criteria you weight.
Whole life cost models
In Whole life costs, a model holds each way you could deliver a requirement and what each would cost across the term. You state the term, the price base year and the discounting: the HM Treasury Green Book rate, a rate your organisation states, or none. Nothing is filled in for you, because a figure resting on an assumption you did not make is not your figure.
Bid normalisation
From Whole life costs, Normalise supplier prices turns each supplier's price schedule into one whole life figure over the same term and quantities. Price lines can be one off, per year or per unit. Present value with Green Book rates is optional. Bids in different currencies are shown in separate groups and are never compared or converted.
