Before you award
Award is available only when every bid on the evaluation is complete. If bids are level on score, social value and price, the evaluation says so. Resolve the tie before you award.
Award and create the contract
Award & create contract on the winning row creates the contract at once, with the social value commitments from the winning bid attached, and takes you to Contracts. Check the ranking before you select it.
Standstill (public buyers)
For a contracting authority, the contracts list shows when the mandatory standstill under the Procurement Act 2023 ends, counted in working days from the award date, with a note on how bank holidays were treated. Do not enter the contract before that date.
A private buyer owes no standstill, and the contracts list says so.
Award and regret letters
The evaluation can draft an award letter for the winner and a regret letter for each other bidder. Drafts are advisory and are not legal advice. Your organisation reviews and approves each letter before sending it. If AI drafting is unavailable, or a draft states a figure, date or period that was not supplied, a standard template letter is shown instead.
